ACTIVE GALAXIES

Supermassive black holes power relativistic jets, which are responsible for some of the most spectacular phenomena in the Universe. Our group uses a multiwavelength, multi-messenger, multi-technique approach to study these powerful sources. These include the pioneering RoboPol optopolarimetric monitoring program, radio observations, gamma-ray observations, neutrino observations, and theoretical, statistical studies.

Our AGN research has been funded by the GSRT Aristeia program through the RoboPol project and by the European Commission MSCA program through the JetPop and EuroCal projects.
